Work in Progress/Aug 2026

After immersing myself in workshops and years of personal study, I paused to look inward and ask what truly holds my attention over time. I’ve explored realism, abstraction, impressionism, and simplified forms, but the thread that keeps calling me back is a love of design, color, expressive brushstrokes, and playful shapes. So I’m letting go of realism for now and embracing the qualities that spark joy in the act of painting.

The following embrace a playful exploration of color, composition, and texture.

  • Beach umbrellas (Finished)

  • Donut tubes drifting in a lake (In progress)

  • Beach balls in a pool (In progress)

  • Beach towels and beach chairs (Coming soon!)
