Rural and urban scenes as well as interior compositions comprise the scope of most of my paintings. I was born in Monterey, California, the natural beauty of what I grew up around has permeated my life and my art.

I find inspiration in man made and natural compositions. I am excited by angles, tangents and color combinations. I find excitement in the challenge to paint the image of my inspiration, keeping the goal to visually convey the emotion felt upon first viewing the subject of my painting.
